This is 100% Punkbuster. At some point they have decided to do a checksum on the clients cgame. NoQuarter had the same issue. Only way to solve it that I know of is to create a ticket with punkbuster and have them add the new version...No idea why they do this since I thought sv_pure 1 handled this type of thing.
Well, you're absolutely right, BUT I think there must be some special main different Quad's latest and Pheno's latest version, which "induces" this PunkBuster bug. So I think, rather I'm sure, the PunkBuster bungled something, nevertheless they couldn't resolve that. I red it on more forums. So, unfortunetly the modifications' developers are obliged to make them versions what seem like for PunkBuster as normal version.
One more thing.... I just come to mind: maybe this PB bug didn't generate for the server-side ETPub. I forget to inform you that I chanhed the latest ETPub Client (20081027)... Do I think well, if I suppose it is rather an ETPub Client problem? Well, I'm gonna make a try with older ETPub Client... Soon inform you about the issue.
I apologize to you!!! Seems like - maybe - the ETPub Client 20081027 causes the PunkBuster error what we are talking. Currently I am testing your version with 20080913 ETPub client... The PunkBuster error doesn't sign... I am testing it on a Windows XP (please don't hate me for this ) And my test character is still online for a half our. I think, maybe your version and Quad's 20081027 ETPub client version (or only the second one) makes PunkBuster to do that cretin bug... I can't be sure myself while more window$ players will not test it.

that is all that changed. like i said before, punkbuster needs to be contacted via submitted ticket so they can add this as a recognized version. NQ just went through the same thing. the notion that mod developers are "obliged to make versions that punkbuster sees as normal" is nonsense.
both server binaries I offered to you are inoficial (compiled under Vista x64 and Debian Etch) and only for testing purposes!
So, please wait for the oficial nightly build version! But run it at your own risk!
EDIT: I compiled myself revision 90 (without my changes on Vista x64) and got the same Punkbuster error! Same on linux (Debian Etch)! Running with etpubc 20081027. So, there must be any problem with Punkbuster or my computer(s)!
EDIT #2: Compiled revision 90 and 99 under Windows XP Prof. with same result (+ etpubc 20081027).

I thought it as a pressure from PunkBuster. Of course that should be incorrect.
Phenomenon, 20080913 ETPub client with your version works very well. I'm running it for more than 12 hours. The XP-save bug solved, works fine with Omnibot 0.71, there is no PB bug, the GeoIP is cool etc... (I'm running it on an Hardy Heron x86 Linux.)
xpsave: [serverstat] parse errir near distance_variance= on line 3192 xpsave: [serverstat] parse errir near 0.999989 on line 3193 xpsave: loaded 131 mapstats, ,629 xpsaves
Thank you very much. I put it up and correct the concerns readxp. I have noticed that players still losing their XP but was recovering their readxp XP. This is already better.
Thank you very much hoping that quad you find time for us
Is it possible for someone to post that PB and XP save issues are fixed or not?
Unfortunetly NOT. Pheno's current binary version after 22 hours countinously run began to reset XPs... Sorry Pheno... Should I help you with any details?
Dear Quad, Santa Quadlaus is delay... Please, please give us your gift!
I didn't get to do any programming yet, family, food, visits, you know, all the stuff that take up your time every Christmas... Lua is there in the trunk btw, thank Pheno for it. What's left is the fix for XP save, which unfortunately is like looking for the needle in the haystack I'll try to do it, but I can't promise anything. After that, I'll make a nightly build.
